What we collect

Your name, email address, mobile number and residence details when you create an account; photographs of the footwear we care for; and your answers if you take part in our Spin & Win survey.

We also record the IP address and browser of the device you sign in from, and the IP address a survey response arrives from. We use these only to keep accounts secure and to stop automated abuse.

How we use it

To collect and return your shoes, keep you informed on WhatsApp and email, manage your membership, and improve our service. We do not sell your information.

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, never in a form we can read. Sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies, and we store only a one-way hash of each session token.

How long we keep it

Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days and are then deleted automatically. Email confirmation links last 24 hours and password reset links 30 minutes. Records kept to limit repeated sign-in attempts are deleted within 24 hours. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

You can update your details from your account at any time, or ask us to delete your account and data by writing to care@souter.in.
